Lake City pilots will treat the public with their 51st annual “Dawn Patrol” breakfast, 7:00 am to 11:00 am on Sunday, May 26th. The traditional start-of-summer event will be at Lake City Home Acres Airport, two miles east of Lake City on Beeler Road. The event is a special treat on the way to or from church. The Home Acres Lot Owners (HALO) Association hosts the event, with support from airport owners Don and Sharon Kohler. HALO President Keith Brew invites the community and seasonal visitors to join the fun. Brew said, “Those of us who live at the airport look forward to celebrating aviation, and giving back to the community at this breakfast.
