As the Executive Director for The Promise FM my prayer is to see our station have a Kingdom impact on our communities all across Northern Michigan, Ontario and around the globe. Married 38 years to my amazing wife Carol, and blessed with 4 wonderful children; Joshua our oldest, married to our amazing daughter-in-law Samantha, and our beautiful grand-daughter Ava, Jeremy our PGA professional who travels between Michigan and Florida, our youngest son Jonathan married to our amazing daughter-in-law Mariah and our daughter Elisabeth Ashley who is home with the Lord. “Never doubt in the dark what God has clearly shown you in the light!”

Born and raised in northern Michigan, I have worked at the Promise FM since October 2014. My husband, Nick and I are blessed with four young, rambunctious children that we thank God for everyday. They provide constant energy that keeps us on our toes – we would not have it any other way. I’m so thankful to be a part of God’s work at the Promise FM and I love how much I’ve grown in my walk with Jesus and look forward to what He has in store for this ministry!

Fred loves to help you rise and shine each weekday morning, and he’ll even let you sleep in a little bit on Saturdays! He’s been blessed to be part of some wonderful and award-winning Christian radio ministries, and now he brings that same warm, energetic style of ministry to Northern Michigan and Ontario! Fred is married to his beautiful wife Julie, and together they have three amazing children – Ashleigh, Logan, and Keira. Fred truly loves being part of God’s ministry through radio, saying, “I’m thankful for each moment spent with you on the radio, and for what God is doing in us as we ‘do life’ together every day!”

Wife, Mama, and Nanny are Sarah's favorite titles! Sarah is the author of A Journey Called Grief and has traveled the US encouraging people that they can make it through whatever lands on their doorstep by nuzzling into Jesus. Sarah is an exercise enthusiast and a lover of lake life!
Fun Fact: Sarah charted #30 on the 2008 Billboard charts with her song "Christmas In Heaven".
Sarah's Life Verse is Psalm 46:5, “God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.”

My husband Scott, my son Alex and I moved to Michigan from Arizona because we believe God is doing great things here and we want to be a part of His blessing! I’ve been serving in many aspects of Christian radio for 16 years and my favorite thing is getting the opportunity to pray for The Promise FM family. I’m passionate about writing, old 80’s comedies, traveling locally and seeing lives transformed by Jesus.

I’m married to Joy and am stepdad to two grown kids, Kelly and Ben. We have two grandsons, Cole and Jackson, a beautiful little granddaughter named Claire, and an Australian shepherd/lab mix named Lucy. I love playing drums, & have a passion for leading God’s people in worship. Somethings on my “bucket list” are two things. I want to visit Punxsutawney, PA for Groundhog Day and I want to vacation in Dyersville, Iowa – where the movie “Field of Dreams” was filmed.

I was born in Evansville, Indiana, but have lived in Kentucky, Texas, Missouri, Iowa and Arizona prior to joining the Promise FM. Being able to combine the opportunity to work in radio and share the love of Jesus with others makes every day a blessing for me.
Before catching the radio bug I received much of my training in production and sound by working as an audio engineer and lead guitarist while traveling with bands all over the country. I love being outdoors and get out to hike and run every chance I get. I have two cats, Hunter and Abigail, who basically rule the house and are gracious enough to let me live there. A couple of my favorite verses are Psalm 33:4 and Jeremiah 29:11.

I’m really excited to be part of The Promise FM family, and see the power of what God is doing through this ministry. I’m originally from rural Northern Pennsylvania, and then lived in Arizona for many years. I’ve been married to my beautiful wife Kelly since 2007, and though I wasn’t raised in the Church, she brought me to the Lord and I began my walk with Christ about 10 years ago. I’m a HUGE music fan, and a total tourist at heart: I love looking up an area, bookmarking places to visit, enjoying local stores and restaurants, and taking a ton of pictures.

I've learned you're never too old to grow with Jesus. He'll use us, If we're willing, until our last breath. I've been listening to Christian radio since I accepted Christ in 1987. My husband, Scot and I, moved to Northern Michigan 9 years ago. We have three adult sons and three grandsons. Justin is married to Elizabeth and they have our oldest grandson, Gavin. Kellen is married to Katie and they have Brantlee and Brooks. Our youngest son Bryce lives in San Diego and loves it there. I enjoy being outdoors in God's creation walking trails or on the water in a boat. I feel so blessed to be working with the gifted and wonderful team of individuals with Northern Christian Radio and its business partners.

My calling in this ministry is to positively impact lives and maximize our impact for Christ. Through marketing and analytics, we can serve our listeners with content to improve their day and aid them in their spiritual journey. I have two young kids and a wonderful husband, Andy, who I’ve had the privilege to be married to for 14 years. Tuning into The Promise FM centers me, strengthens me, and helps me be grateful for all the Lord has given me.

Tom Lewis has been in fundraising and ministry for over 25 years. He attended Kansas State University for Architecture, but then discovered God had a different direction for him, Broadcasting.
Tom has been faithfully married to Gwendolyn for 36 years – as of August 1st. They have a spoiled little Morkie named Sophie, better known as Princess Sophie. Tom also has three kids, who are all married, and has three wonderful grand kids.
Fishing, lake time, hunting and remote control aircraft are his hobbies, along with classic cars. He plays golf, but isn’t very good at it! One little known fact about Tom Lewis, he loves woodworking and building things. He even built his lake house himself!

Frank has over 50 years in radio broadcasting and spent 31 of those years at KLTY/Dallas. Host of “KeepTheFaith Dallas-Fort Worth” and formerly worked for WWDJ/New York, WOCL/Orlando, WNBC/New York, WMJX/Miami, and others.
He is a devoted husband to wife Patti, and father of Ryan & Hope. In addition to his busy schedule Frank serves in many community-involved projects.

I was born and raised in Charlevoix, a beautiful little community on Lake Michigan. I earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from time spent at Michigan State University (the one real "University in Michigan") and then graduated from Michigan Technological University in 1984. From there, I worked for Rockwell Automation, selling factory automation in the automotive industry for around 23 years. I moved my family back to Charlevoix in 2005 to start a new business with my father, but as God saw fit, He placed me in ministry instead, and today, I am pastoring Center Assembly of God church in my hometown. This is my second time on the board of Northern Christian Radio, and I am pleased to be back on the board. I am married to my wife, Chris, and we have been married for 43 years. We have four children and seven grandchildren.

I was born in Piqua Ohio. My family moved to Northern Michigan when I was 10. I graduated from Alpena High School in 1978 and after college I moved to Ypsilanti where I met and married my incredible wife, Leslie. We have 4 amazing children, Matthew, Laura, Jeffrey, and Joshua. Laura married Jon Boss and they have 3 children, Owen, Anna, and Noah. Joshua married Tara Beatty and they have 2 children, Addie, and Harbor. I love the outdoors and am an avid hunter, especially waterfowl hunting. I am honored to be on the board of The Promise FM. Being a part of this ministry is one of the greatest highlights of my life.

Kim joined the Promise FM Board as its Treasurer in 2018 following his participation in the Promise’s Holy Land trip where he and Pat Scott connected while walking along the Sea of Galilee together. Pat is a master recruiter.
Born in Detroit and raised in Livonia, Kim is an avid Michigan fan [BBA 1971; MBA 1977]. His career at Ford spanned 35 years and was highlighted by an overseas assignment as Managing Director of Ford Credit Taiwan where his grasp of Mandarin was “buhau” [translation: not good].
Kim has been married to his beloved wife Pam for 49 years and they have 4 great kids and 13 grandkids ranging from 2 - 19. Family is a blessing.
Kim’s love for the Lord and desire to serve have been fulfilled while on the Promise FM Board. His connection with Pat started with their shared passion for Right to Life issues and has deepened over time with many conversations on how we can use the power of radio to reach a world that needs Jesus.
Being a part of the Promise FM team is a privilege as we serve the Lord together. Our goal is simple, to hear these words: Well done, good and faithful servant.

I am a part of The Promise FM Board because I love people, community, and music! I hope to add a young, and insightful perspective to the Board. I am a true Michigander, born and raised in Charlevoix, MI. I am 22 years old. I graduated from Charlevoix High School in 2018, and North Central Michigan College with my Associates in Business Management in 2021. I am the youngest of four sisters and would not be where I am today without my sisters, and big family! I am married to the love of my life, Jacob Sharrow, and a fur mama to our dog, Daisy, who we rescued!! I work at a local coffee shop. I love being creative, and making people laugh and smile. I am very passionate about volunteering and helping in any way I can around my community. I serve in multiple ministries and am an active member of my local church. Aside from work and volunteering, I love the lake, gardening, worship, quality time with my husband, friends and family, coffee, and indoor gardening!

I've been a supporter of the Promise FM for 25 years and just became a board member. I have a passion to see this ministry thrive as, like so many others, the music and programs provided have helped me throughout the years. I appreciate the timing the Lord has during the day with songs, stories, scripture verses. I am a nurse by profession and live in the Big Rapids area. I have one beautiful daughter. We both love animals, so between us we have 2 horses, 4 dogs, and 5 cats. It's a tad wild when we get them all together!

I am a Northern Michigan native. I did leave for college and a 14 year career in the Detroit area. When I returned in 2000 I brought a hostage, Amy, who became my wife that year also. We shared the role of homes schooling our two sons Caleb and Joel. They are both in college considering many career paths, but most importantly have set their path on the Lord. I love being active in the outdoors, mountain biking, skiing, running, kayaking, and just exploring.

I was born in Saginaw, MI where I grew up in the country. I met my wife, Marie, in high school. We were married in 1974. In 1979, we moved to Gaylord and started Listvan, Inc, a plumbing and heating company.
My life changed in 1989 after I heard a contemporary Christian song. Prior to that, I thought I had it all - good health, great wife, beautiful children, thriving business. But something was desperately wrong - No Jesus. Together Marie and I started down a different path. We now have 3 married daughters and 9 grandchildren. God has blessed our families beyond measure!
This is my second term with TPFM. Looking back over the years, I can see how this ministry has changed so many lives- including mine.

I was born in Alpena, Michigan the last of six children. I grew up in a Catholic household during the onset of the Catholic Charasmatic movement so I have always known and experienced the power of the Holy Spirit. I spent my entire life living here in Alpena. I married my wife Mary in 1982 and together we raised two daughters, Andrea and Jennifer and a son Eric. We have three beautiful granddaughters. I have worked in retail all my life, the last 38 years for two small family owned office supply and printing businesses. My hobbies are golf and playing cards with friends. I am also a lifelong Detroit Lions fan. I attend Alpena Free Methodist Church. I am excited and honored to be a part of what God is doing in Northern Michigan thru Northern Christian Radio.
